That left wing commie Sean Penn gets the best actor award. Pretty surprising. He's a great actor but he's not made many friends along the way. Fact is off camera he's a first class prick. I think the guy who played Nixon got screwed. Although like I said Penn is an incredible actor. Angelena Jolie got worked too. Her performance in Changling was incredible.
Rightly so Slumdog Millionaire took home most of the gold. Great movie that came out of left field.

I never watch the Oscars. I don't see many movies anyway.

I've seen a ton of movies this year for some reason. Lot of good ones. The Oscars were pretty good.
What was so good about Kate Winslet's performance. I don't care much for her.

Not only did I think The Reader was the Best picture even thought I knew Slumdog would win I also think Kate Winslet is the finest actress working today outside of Meryl Streep. Kate really did deserve the award this year. I loved SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE and have no problem with it getting the award but the movie that touched my soul was THE READER and Winslet was a huge part of the reason.;)

Jackman did a fine job. This is an awards show not a cartoon.
