It seems the Sharks have had a championship caliber team the last couple of years only to flame out in the second round of the playoffs.

Thank you Jand.
a power play is when ur team has more players than other due to penalty
Is it just for one play or for a time period?
SF Kid
12-06-2008, 08:16 PM
I think it's for the amount of time of the penalty of the player who is out of the game.
The Kid is learning about Hockey.

How about explaining "off sides"...it seems awfully complicated in hockey. Blue lines, red lines...ugh.
jandajuice
12-07-2008, 04:50 PM
if your play crosses the blue line before the puck
SF Kid

The team that has the most wins durning the regular season wins the president's cup. It is also what Obama wears when he plays sports.

I'm a big Sharks fan, they definately have a shot at this, though the Washington Caps are almost on a different planet to everyone else in the NHL this year, or certainly in the east. But our guys Marleau and Heatley are just assassins in front of goal, combined for 73 goals.
LET'S GO SHARKS!!!!!!!

Sharks lost Game 1, and on home ice, 2-1 to Colorado.
Here's the highlights page from NHL.com with links to the first round of games...

Sharks and Avalanche now tied at 1-1, but the Sharks maybe lucky so far, haven't played well, but it's a best of 7, so they can (correction, they WILL) turn it around. All that stood between the Sharks and an 0-2 deficit was 31.3 seconds, fortunately that was exactly when Pavelski converted a Dany Heatley rebound with the goalie pulled and the third-period clock ticking down. Then Setoguchi's power-play goal in overtime lifted the Sharks to a 6-5 win. Quite a game.
Suddenly the giants loss seems trivial :mad::mad:
Huge goal for Little Joe. Lets go Sharks :beerbang:
