But yeah I hope Philly wins just because I hate the Dodgers. But really I'm not interested enough to watch any of it.

I'm definitely watching this series. Both teams, especially the Dodgers, have some good pitching. The Phils have some big time bats, too.
I guess this is a rematch of the '77, '78, and '83 NLCS. :p

I think the Dodgers pitching might have a slight edge (I heard somebody say that :p). That's not a good thing though.

How so? The Phillies seem the clearly superior team, especially on offense. For all the talk of Dodgers been hot down the stretch in September, the Phillies were 17-8 in September, same as the Dodgers. For all the talk of a hot Manny, Ryan Howard has been even hotter. I like the Phillies in 6.

I just think they're catching the Dodgers at the wrong time. Frankly it's really just a guess. As yo know I prefer the Dodgers go to hell. :p

The Phillies win game 2 of the NLCS, 8-5! And get this! The Phillies pitcher, Brett Myers, goes 3 for 3 with 3 RBI's!! :pound:

I did not believe the Dodger would be down 2-0 but the Bear could not be happier. And yes I agree the Dodgers do SUCK!!
Hats off to the Phillies. Matt Stairs hit a 2 run HR in the 8th for the win. Phillies now lead the series 3 to 1 with the last 2 games at home for the Phils. I would have to say it does not look good for the Dodgers. Dodgers Suck!! :beerbang:

Wow, the Phillies really have a a solid all around offense. They got key HRs from two guys who are not the big hitters on this team. That's a sign a good ballclub. The Phillies are looking really good right now.

Why isn't Game 5 being played today? Since when do they have off-days during the middle 3-4-5 games of a seven game series? It was always games 1-2, off day, games 3-4-5, off day, then games 6-7. Fricking TV networks have way too much power. :mad:

Agree there Mc. It's all about what TV wants. All about money.
Look at the crap they did with the NBA playoffs. The playoffs dragged on for weeks with sometimes 4 days in between games. Ridiculous.
