View Full Version : Rajai moves across the Bay!
Oakland Athletics claimed OF Rajai Davis off waivers from the San Francisco Giants; Designated RHP Kirk Saarloos for assignment. :nono:
I am sorry to see Rajai go and wish him well. This should be Dave Roberts who is on the move and not Davis. :(

It's really too bad, but I understand the logic. Schierholtz is hitting .345 in AAA Fresno, and has 13 RBIs in just 14 games. We need to eventually make room for him.
I say release friggin Aurillia (or trade him for a crappy prospect), and then put together this team:
C: Molina
1B: Bowker
2B: Velez
SS: Burriss/Vizquel
3B: Castillo
LF: Lewis
CF: Rowand
RF: Schierholtz
Randy Winn would have to be a bench player who could fill in for Lewis or Schirholtz when there's a tough lefty pitcher on the mound.

...and send Dave Roberts packing too. I'm not a Dave Roberts fan at all. :gripe:

I like your line-up, but what about the other kid who plays short? He is not chopped liver. I also think Rowland may have been a mistake. Not as bad as Zito but than nothing is that bad.

Bockock? eh, not a big fan. His defense is great, but his offense is: . .170 AVG just won't cut it :nono:

Did the Giants even give Rajai Davis a fair chance?

This really should have been Roberts.Isn't Roberts a waste of time?
I really son't see what benefit it is to the Giants to have him around much less play him. :boxing:
