Yeah I think they will. they have the best player in basketball. They're relatively young and they have mad talent. Plus maybe the best coach.

Maybe the best coach? Are you kidding me Kid? Without question the best coach!:bugeye:

Yeah he's pretty good alright. He's always had talent to work with but he made that talent work more times than not. A lot of other coaches can't say the same.

Lakers? Meh. The Boston Celtics are the defending NBA champs and until they are dethroned they are still the best team in my book.

The truth is he has had more talent on his teams than any other coach I can think of
Shaq and Kobe
Jordan and Pippen
That doesnt make a great coach the best, I like Pop over this guy, and even Sloan

To each his own! You don't think Pop or Sloan don't have talent now and in the past?;)

Not that compare to the dominance of those two Jackson teams, Sloan has had several teams overachieve, while Tim D makes all the other players better than they would be otherwise.

There have been a lot of coaches who had talent and fell flat on their faces. Jackson has had great players, true. But he found ways to make them play together, get the most our of their talent and win. That's no easy feat with today's pro athlete.

Gonna be fun watching the Lakers, Celtics and Cavs this year. They're all playing great. Of course being a LaBron fan I'll be rooting for the big upset in the playoffs. Not likely but...

Looks like the Warriors are the Warriors. And the former Sonics are the worst team in the NBA. Life is good. :D

LeBron is simple amazing isn't he? What a wonderfully complete basketball player. As for the Warriors don't get me started! :banghead: I've been following the Warriors since the Bernard King days and in all the time they have mostly sucked.

They will have to play a Shitload better than they did against a mediocre Rockets squad. (when Yao went down)

I'm a fan of the pre-tattoo NBA. I don't think 5 guys standing around the court and taking 3's is really basketball. There is about 1 good pick and 1 good pass per game.

SF Kid

Think back. What stupid stuff did we do when we were kids?

The last truly great "team" to me was the Webber, Vlade, Christie, Peja and Bibby Kings. They just dont build them like that anymore.

And Phil Jackson gets no love?

WTF? How is it possible that Jackson has never been coach of the year? The year before he showed up in Chicago the Bulls sucked (with Jordan and Pippen)...then they win six championships.

The year before he showed up in LA the Lakers sucked with Shaq and Kobe. Them they win 3 championships. Coincidence? Not likely.

Jackson had a week to look at film of the Cle/Orlando series. I think he has a game plan figured out for the Magic plus the Lakers are probably just better. But it's only one game. We'll see.

Looks like it's a wrap unless somebody really thinks Orlando can beat LA three straight two of which will be in Los Angeles. I don't think so.

WTF? Is the Bear boycotting the NBA?
