Barry Bonds' #25 should be retired

I believe it will take at least 7 to 10 years before the Giants even think about that. There is hardly anything that relates to Bonds in the Park today except for one small 756 sign in right center field. No Bonds is on the back burner for the Giants.

I doubt it'll take that long. They may be waiting for Bonds to officially retire. But I can't imagine it would be more than 3-4 years. He'll get his statute as well. I wonder where they would put it?

They should erect a floating shrine in McCovey Cove and put the retired jersey in there. :p

Not a chance in Hell! They will stay as far away from Bonds as possible until the steroids thing goes away. That will take years. :eek:

but the "steroids thing" will never go away. It's not there ever be a day when Bonds will be free of the steroids accusations. Bonds had a huge hand in getting AT&T Park built. He should be honored for that a least.

I have money to bet if you think he will have his number retired or that he will get a statue within the next 3-4 years. It just will not happen. Trust me on this one. :nono:
