I think that is way to much work to think about right now. Remember it's football season.
I'll think about it over the next few months though and get back to you.

As someone who once studied to be a psychologist I would say you have a fixation on Ms. Wie!

Mac can you explain how you left Orlando Cepeda off the team? :buttkick:
I took the OP to mean building a "real" 25 man roster. So that means I have to have backups at every position. This also means that my 25 man roster is not meant to be the 25 greatest SF Giants per se. Chris Speier is not one the 25 greatest SF Giants. But I can't have just one shortstop on my team and no backup shortstop. So Speier has to be on my team. It came down to Will Clark and Baby Bull. Baby Bull was probably a better hitter but I like to have some defense on my bench so I picked Clark. But I could go either way. If I were to lake a list of the greatest SF Giants regardless of position this would be my list off top of my head:
1.Willie Mays
2. Barry Bonds
3. Juan Marichal
4. Willie McCovey
5. Orlando Cepeda
6. Bobby Bonds
7. Jeff Kent
8. Will Clark
9. Jack Clark
10. Gaylord Perry
11. Rob Nen
12. Robbie Thompson
13. Matt Williams
14. Jim Hart
15. Rod Beck
16. Jason Schmidt
17. Chilli Davis

19. Tom Haller
20. Bob Brenly
21. Gary Lavelle
22. Kevin Mitchell
23. J.T. Snow
24. Darell Evans
25. Russ Ortiz

We pretty much match, Bear. I guess great minds think alike. :beerbang: Just curious why did you pick Brenly over Haller at catcher?

Let's be honest here. Wie is news because she's like a train wreck, people are morbidly curious and fascinated by her. Plus, compared to most pro female golfers she's an attractive young woman. If she was "butch" like a lot of the top female pros she's would not get as much press.
Two things. I changed my Rf to Orlando, and I am no sure about Worrell. The reason I chose Bob Brenly over Haller is I never liked Haller and always liked BB. Kind of like your reason for Big Tim (Its my team!)
I'd just say she's a whore.
Now I understand! Many men are fixated on whores. You just have a whore fixation!

Figures Bear would screw up this thing too b ut I see what you mean. Hahahaha.
Actually Will Clark couldn't carry Cepeda's jock. JMO.

But yes your point is well take...have you seen what those Asian women look like -- the ones dominating the LPGA? Brutal.

No problem. It was a toss up for me between Brenly and Haller actually. Catcher has never been a strong position for the Giants historically.

I like Haller better. Guy was much better in clutch situtations.
Cepeda played LF Bear so why does he get put in RF? I thought this had to be in the position that the player played...so for Cepeda either LF or first base. Off course you could move McCovey to LF where he was a real experiment in terror.

That maybe the most funny idea of all time. Anybody over Bonds in left is just plain crazy.
