Guys have you seen a list of the free agents for 2009? Check out this link and tell me what you think. I don't see much that will help us long term except for maybe one or two players.:(

This years list is pretty thin unless we go after Mark Teixeira. My guess is we will not want to pay the price, but the Giants have done strange things in the past. Also I believe we will be in the rebuilding mode for at least one more season which means we will have to wait one more year before we will be back in the race for the division title.;)

The Giants will have to do something to keep the fan base coming to the games. AT&T still get a good crowd, but will it happen next year if they are as bad at home as this year.

The fans can only take so much of the losing without seeing much hope. But having said that I don't think the fans want any more 30+ year old rent-a-player kind of band aid. Tough problem. In fact I'm surprised the attendance isn't in the dumper already this season. The losing just gets old especially in the Bay Area where there are plenty of other things to spend your entertainment dollar on.
