There is talk on the internet that Omar Vizquel will retire before the end of the season. Do you believe it?:confused:

I couldn't care less. He needs to go anyway so retiring would work for me. :wavey:

Well, Willie McCovey retired on July 6th, 1980. I saw his last AB on TV. He hit a sac fly to give the Giants a lead against the Dodgers. :D

Omar is a gentleman who just wants to do the best he can. I am sure he knows he is struggling, but his glove and smarts is still in demand. Keep him around to give the kids a lesson on how to be a true major leaguer. He still signs autographs and is happy to be in SF. Let him play, besides, who would they bring up from the minors... they are already in the majors!
