Great, I finally am going to a Giants game after four years and I get stuck with Barry Zito pitching. :mad:

You have to be more careful and buy tickets the day of the game just to be sure you don't have to see Zito pitch. Don't plan too far ahead. Ugh.

Well what do you know, Zito won. :eek: We were running late and the game started as we entered the ballpark. Before I even sat down Zito had thrown two pitches and given up two doubles and the Giants were already down 1-0. Zito continued to struggle in the first inning and gave up another run. Then without rhyme or reason Zito completely shut down the Dodgers for the next six innings and struck out 10 Dodgers. He retired 13 in a row at one point. Zito looked really sharp after the first inning. He got the win. Go figure.

Holy Cow! Zito fans 10 and we're FOUR games out! I had to check to see if either of those were typos...

I'm going to the Sunday game. Would be fun to beat the Dodgers and pull within 3. :beerbang:

It was so weird how sharp Zito was. He got a bunch of called third strikes.

Giants lose as Matt Cain (Little Zito) takes the loss. He is now 5-7 after giving up 5 Runs 5 ER in just 6 Inn. He now has an ERA of 4.30. Face it guys he is below average at best and would be just be called pitiful if you guys would be honest with yourselves.:eek:
