The Giants have promoted some notable minor-leaguers. First baseman Travis Ishikawa, who had 24 at-bats in the majors two years ago, is going to Triple-A Fresno after hitting .291 with eight homers and 48 RBIs at Double-A Connecticut. Catcher and first baseman Pablo Sandoval, 21, will move from Class A San Jose to Connecticut after dominating the California League with a .359 average, 12 homers and 58 RBIs.

Well Mac, we will now see what Sandoval does at the next stop.

Right on Pablo! :beerbang: I think also the drafting of Buster Posey made it necessary to make room for Posey at single-A to be the new starting catcher. I didn't know Sandoval plays first base as well. Perhaps the Giants are already looking ahead for Posey to be the Giants future catcher. From what I've ready about Posey his defense is already major league caliber right now.
