Do you think this guy is a hall of fame pitcher? I don't.

I think Schilling's career is HoF Fame caliber but not inner circle of course.
216-146, .597 W%, 3.46 ERA, 127 ERA+
Schilling had several huge seasons. Check out his '97, '98, ,01, '02, '04 plus several other really really good seasons. He also had three 300 strikeout seasons. I think only Nolan Ryan and Randy Johnson have more. Also, Schilling was a big time post season performer winning three World Series. In 19 post season starts (133.1 innings) he was
11-2, 2.36 ERA, 4 CG, 120 K, 25 BB
At least to me Schilling was a "winner".

Schilling is a Hall of Fame pitcher but I hate to see it happen. I have never liked the guy or wanted him to pitch for my team. That being said He has had a great career and had some wonderful post seasons. I would be shocked if he was not voted in on the first ballot.

That is part of the problem. The guy is not likable. He's a real arrogant guy. What a dick.
I just don't think 216 wins is enough to get him into the Hall of Fame -- plus being a dick. :p

Well, if "dicks" were not allowed in the HoF then the Hall would have about six members. :p

Well, it's got to be factored in in Schllings case. He's a Class I dick to be sure. :pound:
