Growing up, the only game on the radio was the Giants. I even got caught listening to the Giants at school with a transistor AM radio under my sweatshirt during class. No cell phones to check scores back in the 80's. So I guess I have been a fan for 30 plus years. I get to AT&T about 5 times a year, but watch about 90% of the games on Comcast Sports. Currently living in Chico, and go to CSU Chico Division II baseball games(1997 and 1999 Division II World Series Champions) Kyle Woodruff (RHP) was just drafted by the Giants (27th round). We also have the the Golden Baseball League Chico Outlaws (2007 GBL Champions). It is a fun minor league team, no major league affiliation. We had Desi Wilson last year, and now the Long Beach Armada have Jerome Williams and Tony Torcato. Gary Carter is the Orange County Flyers manager and Jeffery Leonard is the Reno Silver Sox manager. So I do keep up with the Giants, even when they are no longer play in the big leagues. Enough for now. It is good to have a group that will listen to what needs to be said about the Giants.

Hey Swede...your post brings back memories. Maybe even a little further back. Memories of sneaking a transistor radios into school to listen to the ball games is familiar to me. In those days transistor radios were like some sort of electronic marvel. :chuckle:
