Ok, I was looking at Sanchez's '08 season so far. Except for two bad starts he's been really good. Here are his two bad starts.

April 4 @ MIL: 4.0 IP, 7 ER, 8 K, 2 BB, Loss
May 6 @ PIT: 4.1 IP, 7 ER, 4 K, 3 BB, Loss

In these two games Sanchez gave up 14 ERs. In his other 10 starts combined Sanchez has given up 17 ER. In these 10 starts Sanchez has a 2.55 ERA and has only given up three runs or more in just twice.

Stats for these 10 starts:

60.0 IP, 59 K, 31 BB, 2.55 ERA, 1.333 WHIP, 49 H

In these 10 starts the Giants are 9-1. The one loss was 2-0 with Sanchez giving up just two runs.

Wow, I am glad you found someone to argue the way I feel, backing my theory with #'s.

Good, haha!! I hope we see breakout years for Sanchez and Cain, that would put this staff at the top.

If Sanchez & Cane have a breakout year I'd say the Giants have a legitimate chance of winning the NL West.
