Hi guys

I actually joined here last fall just as the baseball season was ending, but never got going posting. Here's my old resume!...

1. Location: City of Redding, CA
2. Approximate age: 34
3. Favorite current Giant: Lincecum, Zito.
4. Favorite former Giant: Bonds, Will Clark.
4. Favorite all-time player: Cal Ripken Jr
5. Other sports teams you follow: San Jose Sharks (NHL) 49'ers.
6. How you found this place: I Google'd for a while looking for a Giants forum.
7. Anything else you wish to share: Hi, I'm Danny. I've been a G-Mod on a couple of other forums over the past 3-4 years. I'm a huge Giants fan, I'm married with 3 Giants crazy kids, we live at beautiful Lake Shasta, a few miles north of the city of Redding, N.Cal. I am ex-military (USAF) I just this past May came out after quite a few years service (mainly posted overseas) when my wife got sick, but she's doing OK. Planning on setting up a private plane-hire company with a friend, but been watching a lot of Giants baseball all summer, even though it's quite a drive down to SF. Nice looking forum anyway, I guarantee to stay active so long as there's something going on here! Never expected our team to compete this year, I had us down for maybe 2010-2011 coming good. Praying we can push the Rockies all the way to that final wild card slot. So see you fellas around, GO GIANTS!!

Been sort of busy, a lot has changed, but now baseball is back I hope to be active here and post most days, have some fun if I can, talk some Giants baseball. Really been too busy to even lurk around any forum for months, in January me and my wife and kids moved house from up near Redding down here to the amazing city of Monterey, as me and a buddy are hoping to set up in business doing pleasure-flights over the bay area by next year, and we kinda need some customers, and an air field!

So hopefully see you around.

Danny, glad to see you back and posting. Good luck in your new business. You most likely will do better in the Monterey area than you would have up near Redding.:beerbang:

Danny, welcome back to SFGF. :toast: I hope the business takes off for you. :)

Thanks guys. Redding is really beautiful, but it's pretty remote where we lived up near Shasta Lake, plus it's too damn far of a drive down to the Bay area, my wife suspects I only wanted to move to be nearer to AT&T Park, wait, she's right!!!!!!!

Hi Danny...Wondered what happened to you. Welcome back!

Thanks! I'm now not surprised you were wondering what happened, as the Bear says you never read the forums, so I probably should have PM'd you to explain!! :beerbang:

Don't listen to the Bear. He's a dumbass.

According to him in his user-title, he's 'The Deity', which is like a supernatural immortal being, who may be thought of as holy, divine, or sacred, held in very high regard, and respected.

Posting with you two could be a slightly surreal experience

Thanks. Yeah, a few people have commented on my avatar, it could probably only be improved upon by having a Dodgers cap in flames whilst Tommy Lasorda was still actually wearing it.

Btw, I thought I'd just mention I'm going to be away for a while from this weekend, and so soon after getting involved here. One thing we HAVE to do is sell our house up at Redding this summer, which we haven't done yet. Now the weather up there is better, I'm going up there to do some work on the house and then organise getting it onto a real estate agents list, probably be up there maybe at least 10-12 days, hey, I'd ask my wife to take over posting for me here while I'm up there, but when she sees the sort of people I hang out with on-line these days, the house would be part of a divorce settlement!! Just kidding LOL

Good luck with the house selling Danny.

Thanks Kid, we probably should have done this months ago, but there has been so much other stuff to think about, new place to live, kids starting at new school, 100 other issues, things should settle down during the summer.
